You will serve as a REAL PROPERTY ACCOUNTABLE OFFICER in the FACILITY MANAGEMENT DIVISION of NAV FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND SE.

Duties

You will maintain and update Real Property (e.g., land, building, structure) records to reflect additions, deletions, and changes. You will use a real property inventory database to perform property record creation and maintenance. You will prepare a final report of findings and recommendations to ensure compliance to property management regulations. You will study information, statistics, or other data to develop plans in order to meet program goals.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1. Knowledge of DoD, DoD, and NAVFAC regulations and policies related to real property inventory reporting. 2. Experience in real property management, accountability, and control procedures. 3. Ability to utilize analytical tools for analysis of facilities. 4. Ability to express information to individuals or groups effectively, and to make clear and convincing oral and written presentations. 5. Knowledge and skills in relational databases, GIS, and Microsoft programs.
