This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, headquartered in Washington, District of Columbia. Duties

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Management Analyst, you will use your knowledge of and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by: Ensuring that assigned programs are operating effectively and are in compliance with Federal laws and regulations and includes responsibility for planning, coordination, and activities. Providing expertise in addressing program and financial management deficiencies (led by the Office of Grants Management and the Division of Financial Integrity) for which national guidelines do not exist or are not applicable and responds with authoritative recommendations and innovative approaches. Performing a wide variety of sensitive and complex duties involving analytical, coordinative, advisory and consultative services on a wide-range of program operations, administrative, and management issues.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Basic Qualifications: (if applicable) Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing at least ALL of the following: Utilizing a wide range of quantitative and/or qualitative methods to assess and provide improvement of complex management processes and systems. Coordinating administrative, human resources, and fiscal management procedures, processes, and systems. Coordinating the new employee recruitment/hiring, onboarding process and/or the New Employee orientation sessions for new team members of an organization. Acquisition experience including developing Statements of Work (SOWs) or Statements of Objectives (SOOs) for a full range of contract types including full and open competition, General Services Administration (GSA) schedules and/or sole source contracts. Experience reviewing data, reports, and policies to prepare reports, presentations, and/or briefing documents. Documenting experience: IN DESCRIBING YOUR EXPERIENCE, PLEASE BE CLEAR AND SPECIFIC.
