These positions are located at the VA Medical Center in Denver, CO in the Office of Integrated Veteran Care, Integrated External Networks, Veteran Family Member Program, Program Management Office. The PMO supports VFMP's administration and oversight over five programs that serve Veterans and their beneficiaries. These positions support the creation and maintenance of dashboards and other tools.
Duties

Duties include, but are not limited to the following.
Program Management 25 Percent
Analyst will participate in extensive interaction with all IVC directorates and VFMP departments to accomplish the mission assigned to VFMP. The interaction will involve policy discussions, operational observations of the various Program Analysts, suggestions for dashboards and data visualizations, and system enhancements to ensure more accuracy or to increase production.
Research, Processing, and Data Analysis 30 Percent
Analyst's approach consists of four primary angles: research, analysis, evaluation, and recommendation. The overarching goal is to provide all levels of management with objective data to support decisions for best course of action selection. Research includes data gathering, investigation and examination of historical, predictive, and trend analysis.
System Management and Dashboard Management 45 Percent
Serves as the primary point of contact between the Office of the Director VFMP and OI&T, identifying the needs of the department, prioritizing system fixes and enhancement requests, and representing the PMO at automation requirement meetings. Serves as the primary contact for testing system fixes and enhancements.
Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

Qualifications
To qualify for this position at the GS-12 grade level, you must meet the following:
Experience: Must possess one year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled? To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-11 of Federal Service. Qualifying specialized experience includes serving as a Data Analyst planning and conducting program studies and analyses, and to formulate reports and recommendations regarding the effectiveness and efficiency of program operations; utilizing Structured Query Language (SQL) programming language to build and maintain dashboards.
