Duties

Directs the operation of the Financial Directorate through subordinate officials. Serves as principal financial advisor to the Publisher. Performs all financial management proponency functions as they relate to regulations and other guidance within the scope of the authority of the organization. Responsible for the efficient utilization and control of MWR funds and resources. Evaluates, reports upon, and analyzes MWR programs of Stripes and the Army in relation to projected standards, plans, and/or goals.

Qualifications

Extensive knowledge and work experience at ascending levels of responsibility in the fields of business, financial management and/or accounting. Minimum five years specialized in financial management/funds administration involving supervision of a subordinate staff. Highly desirable: Bachelor's degree in a field requiring credits in some or all of the following disciplines: finance, accounting, general business, management, insurance, public administration, automation, and/or money and banking. Knowledge of or experience in Army MWR programs or civilian hospitality, recreation, or business programs.
