You will serve as the Administrative Officer in the Kennedy Space Center Procurement Business Office. You will be responsible for the execution of efficient and effective day-to-day administrative operation, a variety of organizational issues and administrative activities and initiatives, and utilizing various programs and business systems to effectively manage projects in support of achieving the mission support goals and objectives.
Duties
Assist management with the identification of financial, personnel, and material needs and problems.
Counsel management in developing and maintaining sound organization structures, improving management methods and procedures, and ensure/track/oversee the effective use of employees, funds, and materials.
Collaborate with Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs) to identify workforce issues and resolutions.
Plan for and provide a wide range of liaison services to support human resources administrative activities of a complex or specialized nature, such as fostering relationships with stakeholders in implementing process improvements.
Gather information, identify and analyze issues, and develop recommendations to resolve complex organizational problems, and develop and implement organizational policies and procedures across the organization.
Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on questions and situations related to the administrative services provided and policy implementation.
Assist and coordinate policy and procedure development and implementation covering internal operations for the organization.
Perform business analyst budget and workforce functions including planning, programming, budgeting execution activities, budget administration, workforce analysis and reporting, and special studies/reports.

Requirements
- Current Federal employees must meet qualifications, time in grade, and 90 days after competitive appointment requirements by the closing date of the announcement.
- This is a bargaining unit position - American Federation of Government Employees - Local 513.
Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level.
Coordinating, supporting issue resolution, monitoring, and tracking administrative activities and functions of an office;
Utilizing a variety of administrative tools and automated systems to support and track administrative operations and workforce planning; and
Creating and implementing office procedures and practices to be used by various administrative support personnel.
