Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must complete and pass a background investigation and fingerprint check.
  • Must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an accredited institution.
  • Must sign a Pathways Internship Program Participant Agreement.
  • Must be and remain in good academic standing.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.

Qualifications

GS-5 Completion of 4 academic years of post-high school leading to a bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree; OR 3 years of general experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least the GS-4;  OR a combination of education and experience. General experience is 3 years of progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least GS-4, that demonstrates the ability to: Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; Plan and organize work; and Communicate effectively orally and in writing. Please provide the beginning and ending dates of volunteer experience stated as MM/YYYY; and total hours worked per week.
