About the Position: This is a Permanent position. Position located at US Army Cadet Command Headquarters, G6, Fort Knox, KY.

Duties

Maintain manual and automated hand receipts to reflect all items of property (installation and expendable/durable property) issued or otherwise disposed. Receive and review documents reflecting items scheduled for repair. Operate computer terminal or personal computer to perform records search, data input, and data corrections. Primary supply technician and hand receipt holder performing supply operation duties related to the receipt and control of maintenance and unique repair items to include C4IM automation and communication items used for facilities and training events. Processes maintenance and repair requests for a variety of specialized training equipment and devices.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Requires physical due to lifting requirement of 20 pounds
  • Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) up to 10% of the duty time is required.
  • This position is designated as moderate risk involving Public Trust. Appointment to this position is subject to a background investigation including a credit check to determine suitability for Federal employment and/or the position.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). or Education Substitution for Specialized Experience for GS-07: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Supply Management. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) or Combination of Education and Experience for GS-07: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
