This position is located at Departmental Offices, Assistant Secretary for Management CFO- Chief Information Officer and CIO. As a/an Supervisory IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for a program segment within Enterprise Data Management and will have supervisory responsibility for technical staff performing diverse duties and responsibilities (data management analysts, business intelligence specialists, and other support personnel) made up of federal employees as well as contract staff.

Duties

As a/an Supervisory IT Project Manager, you will: Assess the sustainability of EDM's data and analytics products, programs, and operations. Present data, analyses, reports, and dashboards results to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Develop and/or implement data collection, data modeling, and database management practices. Lead the development of complex automated reports drawing on data from the Enterprise Data Management Warehouse and other Treasury/Non-Treasury data sources where applicable, in order to produce information required for line and executive decisions.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience for the GS-15 is defined as one year of experience at the GS-14 level, or equivalent, that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position is defined as serving as a technical authority in the areas of shared service offerings of software, platforms and data management. Examples of such experience may include: - Introducing, assessing, and recommending software technologies and technical standards that align with an organizational strategic plan for modernization and automation of enterprise data or financial management solutions. OR - Serving as an information technology project manager implementing, managing and overseeing new emerging technologies of platform, network, architecture or infrastructure services. OR - Experience identifying infrastructure, architecture, network or system administration requirements. In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. Attention to Detail: Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Customer Service: Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. Oral Communication: Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. Problem Solving: Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. TIME-IN-GRADE: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-15, you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks. TIME AFTER COMPETITIVE APPOINTMENT: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
