About the Position: You will develop and execute manpower plans, programs, and policies in accordance with internal and Headquarters, Department of Army (HQDA), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and Army Materiel Command (AMC) guidance.
Duties
Responsible for manpower management; Management analysis, review, and evaluation to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
Analyze and evaluate proposed manpower and organizational changes, determine resource implications and advantages/disadvantages; Recommend proper courses of action.
Ensure regulatory compliance prior to implementing new structures and/or policies.
Respond to taskings and requirements to include manpower data calls; Develop, prepare, and submit the necessary documentation.

Specialized Experience Requirement: At least one year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Developing manpower plans, programs, and policies in accordance with policies, guidance, and regulations; AND 2) Preparing and presenting written and oral reports on manpower and equipment study results, documentation outcomes, and providing sound recommendations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
