Duties

The Satellite Pharmacy provides clinical pharmacy services to inpatients and ambulatory oncology/hematology patients and supports investigational drug development and trials by providing authoritative advice on the medications aspects of research protocols. The ideal candidate for the Oncology-Hematology-Satellite Supervisor position will be an exceptionally talented, knowledgeable, and motivated Clinical Pharmacist with extensive sterile compounding experience and expertise providing pharmaceutical care to complex, oncology and hematology patients to include the monitoring of investigational studies for compliance with research protocols; reviewing drug therapy for proper drug selection, rational indications, dosing, adverse drug reactions, drug interactions, IV incompatibilities, and complications of multiple drug therapies; and providing ongoing education to physicians, nurses, and pharmacists on pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, pharmacogenetics, and other aspects of drug therapy.
