This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel Within the DOD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: This position is located in Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
Duties
Responsible for developing, monitoring, revising, coordinating, implementing, and assessing program policies Army-wide and supports integration into development and implementation of the Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness program.
Analyze Pregnancy/Postpartum Physical Fitness and interrelated issues of Army well-being to include, health and fitness, family services, business programs, behavioral health, mental health, environmental issues, and other quality of life functions.
Management of the overall replication of the Pregnancy/Postpartum Physical Fitness, while promoting and advocating Holistic Health and Fitness program applications.
Serve as the Army level Pregnancy/Postpartum Physical Fitness Health System Specialist.

- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience (1) experience utilizing various databases for analyzing data to identify significant pregnancy and postpartum physical training trends; (2) evaluating pregnancy and postpartum physical training initiatives within an organization; (3) advise leadership on program processes such as pregnancy and postpartum physical training or holistic health and fitness in order to establish effective health care guidance; and (4) design communication strategies to enhance understanding of pregnancy and postpartum physical training initiatives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
