Duties
You will provide logistics management support including, but not limited to: provisioning, allowance, configuration management, requirements determination, inventory, planning and execution, and logistics data maintenance within the organization.
You will plan, coordinate, or evaluate the logistical actions required to support a specified mission or designated program.
You will identify specific requirements (i.e. funding, manpower, material, facilities) to ensure logistics/supply support for assigned program.
You will assist in collecting and analyzing data.

- This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- If eligible for permanent change of station, the appointee will be required to sign a transportation agreement to establish a Government time in service requirement of 12 months.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
- May be required to obtain a VISA dependent on the overseas country's laws/regulations.

Qualifications
For the GS-11 Grade Level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying a wide range of integrated logistics support and supply chain concepts, policies, and procedures to perform logistics management work. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support program requirements; 2) Analyzing cost, existing policies and procedures, data processing requirements, and other issues that affect logistics support; 3) Developing program plans to ensure logistics support requirements are met; 4) Providing technical advice and guidance to customers regarding logistics issues; and 5) Performing research, summarizing information, and providing management with status updates.
For the GS-09 Grade Level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying a wide range of integrated logistics support and supply chain concepts, policies, and procedures to perform logistics management work. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support program requirements; 2) Analyzing cost, existing policies and procedures, data processing requirements, and other issues that affect logistics support; 3) Assisting with developing program plans to ensure logistics support requirements are met; and 4) Performing research and summarizing information in reports.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
For the GS-11 level only:
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
OR
Successful completion of 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.

Possession of an LL.M., if related.
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
For the GS-09 level only:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree.
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree.
OR
Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled.
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
