You will serve as an EXERCISE DESIGNER (AVIATION) in the Marine Corps Tactics and Operations Group of OFFICE OF THE COMMANDING GENERAL.

Duties
You will serve as the Exercise Designed (USMC aviation) subject matter expert (SME) providing Air Combat Element (ACE) operational planner in support of formal learning programs and advanced collective training programs.
You will develop MAGTF ACE layouts, missions, and products in exercise development, specifically the development of MAGTF ACE special instruction, aviation tasking order, Command and Control, and aviation specific control measures
You will provide focused support in operations and strategic planning, operational and tactical event execution, as well as synthesize information for current/projected scenarios.
You will participate and contribute in exercise and scenario interactive progress reviews, planning, conferences, and staff briefs.
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, managing, and conducting pre and post-exercise actions for MAGTF ACE actions in all MCTOG Battle Staff Training exercises.
You will provide subject matter expertise for the exercise control cell in information management, systems integration, simulation implementation, communication and data systems, and organic and outsourced exercise participants.
You will provide support to designing, developing, planning and overseeing exercise actions related to ACE planning and execution for all MCTOG exercise or requested exercise support.
You will manage assets, cond. battle tracking of aviation units, and participate in planning meetings with training audiences during exercise executions.
Requirements

- Travel will be required in carrying out mission and responsibilities approximately 20% of the time.
- Misuse of government IT systems is cause for disciplinary action, including removal.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, coordinating, managing, and conducting pre/post-exercises for Air Combat Element (ACE) actions; and developing warfare training exercises.
