This position is located in the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Office of Audit, Assessment, and Management (OAAM).
Duties
Performs in-depth analyses in order to develop and interpret administrative procedures and policies for effective administration operation.
Formulates budget which includes direct appropriations and reimbursable budget authority.
Identifies and proposes solutions to management problems that are of major importance to the office direction.
Provides advice and guidance to resolve, implement, or manage policy issues that involve major areas of uncertainty in approach or methodology.
Evaluates program studies and analyses to determine legal and regulatory compliance, workflow, and other financial considerations.

Qualifications
Specialized Experience:
Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level. Specialized experience is experience which is in or related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Examples of specialized experience include:
Serves as an expert on the development and implementation of major administrative policies and requirements for substantive, mission-oriented programs.
Serves as an expert on operational budgetary and financial management issues and activities.
Coordinates and directs the accomplishment of all functions comprising the assigned mission.
Provides advice and guidance to resolve, implement, or manage policy issues that involve major areas of uncertainty in approach or methodology.
