This position is located in the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Office of Audit, Assessment and Management (OAAM).
Duties
Analyze and evaluate the administrative and technical aspects of substantive, mission-oriented programs administered.
Plan and implement analyses encompassing large, diverse programs for a major agency component or organization.
Produce information and findings in a variety of formats (articles, papers, briefings, presentation software applications, and/or other media).
Articulates and communicates program assessment projects, problems to be solved, actionable events, milestones, program issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completion.
Serve as the initial contact person and liaison with diverse persons and groups, cultivating and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholder organizations involved in program assessments and partnerships.

Qualifications
Specialized Experience:
Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level. Specialized experience is experience which is in or related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Examples of specialized experience include: Utilizing qualitative and quantitative methods to identify, collect, organize, and analyze large data sets. Developing new innovative and creative ways to resolve major administrative or operational problems. Preparing studies, reports, presentations, memoranda, briefing papers, and/or other materials for outside publication or distribution. Leading complex projects and program assessments by providing expert advice and guidance on broad projects and programs with national impact. Independently researching, analyzing, and providing expert technical advice and assistance on program issues which impact substantive, mission-oriented programs.
