The primary purpose of this position is to provide cyber intelligence support to programs across the acquisition life cycle. Supports effective research, development, fielding, employment, sustainment, and improvement of AF capabilities by identifying cyber related intelligence requirements, integrating intelligence, and providing needed intelligence data and infrastructure in a timely and secure manner.
Duties
-Provides Cyber Intelligence Supportability Analysis to DoD/USAF/USSF Acquisition programs, systems, and processes. Serves as an expert for a cyber-related intelligence function, process, program, or weapon system.
-Performs Cyber Threat Assessments. Serves as the SME for the development of a complex and non-routine effort to assess cyber threats in support of the acquisition process. Serves as a technical authority on adversary cyber threat intelligence support to acquisition programs.
-Serves as a multi-source Intelligence Specialist specializing in cyber threat and cyber-security intelligence. Performs complex cyber and cyber-security intelligence analysis with emphasis on Air Force and DoD programs/systems acquisition activities, and leads teams/projects supporting MAJCOM, Air Force, and DoD acquisition processes and programs.
-Presents Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to a variety of program office, service, national, and/or coalition customers in support of cyber resiliency. Applies knowledge of acquisition and IC cyber collection, analysis, and production capabilities--to include awareness of the variety of intelligence databases, collection management processes, requirements management systems, IC roles and responsibilities, online intelligence documentation, and new intelligence technology developments--to ensure program cyber threat requirements are identified, as well as recommends solutions for recognized gaps.

Qualifications
This is a GG-13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-13 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: Extensive knowledge of and skill in applying the full range of general intelligence research and analytical methods, techniques, and practices to difficult and complex work assignments. Knowledge of analytical principles, concepts, and methods to produce detail analyses of complex information/situations attained from multiple sources. Demonstrated knowledge of the national IC, Joint, DoD structure, organizations and mission/functions, interrelationships, and operations. Extensive knowledge of the acquisition life cycle and the role of intelligence in the development of weapon systems, new operational concepts, and innovative techniques, and the intelligence infrastructure needed to provide them. Extensive knowledge of acquisition and intelligence utilized to identify intelligence sensitivities within a program to identify intelligence gaps, perform intelligence supportability analysis and intelligence health assessments, and provided solutions and recommendations as required. Extensive knowledge of key principles involved in cyber threat analysis, cyber-security, and identifying cyber-related dependencies. Knowledge of and demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing, and manipulating data in multi-source intelligence information systems and databases to identify intelligence requirements and gaps, and develop new methods, approaches, or procedures for providing intelligence supportability analysis and satisfying customer requirements. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.???????
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of the intelligence cycle and intelligence policy and guidance, and the structure, organization, roles and missions, and inter-relationships of the national IC, DoD, USAF, and USSF, particularly as it pertains to cyber threat collection, analysis and production capabilities and limitations.
2. Knowledge of acquisition policy and guidance and the role intelligence plays throughout a weapon system's life cycle; Acquisition Intelligence analysis mission and strategy; and the roles and responsibilities of field intelligence offices in support of USAF/USSF research laboratories, acquisition program offices, and life cycle management, nuclear, sustainment, and system testing enterprises.
3. Knowledge of a comprehensive range of intelligence research methods, techniques, and practices and advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods used to identify and analyze complex multi-source intelligence information to produce detailed cyber intelligence capabilities and cyber threat assessments, identify cyber-related intelligence deficiencies, and advocate for customers cybersecurity requirements.
4. Skill in conducting unbiased complex research, identifying appropriate available systems/data sources, and producing intelligence requirement assessments that answer specific tasks to link and leverage agency capabilities in support of consumers, customers, and client's cyber threat and cyber risk management needs.
5. Skill in communicating clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy, orally and in writing, as well as work in a professional manner with peers, management, subordinates, contractors, academia, and other agencies to work out solutions to problems, prepare professional level documents and studies, and deliver General Officer (executive) level information and decision briefs.
6. Ability to quickly assimilate disparate data, render knowledgeable and accurate assessments of the implication of such data, and make decisions, estimates, and recommendations under conditions of urgency and competing resources, based on mature judgment and experience and present and/or defend a position effectively.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONT'D:
1. Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
2. Drug Testing: This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.
