The position serves as lead of the Professional Development Office in the Administration Branch, Central Federal Lands Highway Division (CFLHD), Federal Lands Highway (FLH), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Department of Transportation (DOT) located in Lakewood, CO. The incumbent is responsible for communication and coordination with Office of Human Resources and providing administrative support to CFL staff on personnel areas, including performance appraisal and processing awards.

Qualifications

For the GS-13: You must have at least one year of experience, equal or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level, which included:
Experience mentoring and leading a staff to develop strategies for maintaining a strong customer service orientation which provides quality service in a timely manner. This includes experience identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks among team members.
Experience in providing administrative support to management regarding position management, reorganizations, functional changes, personnel changes, and/or workforce planning.
Experience utilizing automated personnel systems and providing guidance to customers and management.
