You will serve as a INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (SECURITY) in the Management Information Systems (MIS) Division, Operations Management Department of STRATEGIC WEAPONS FACILITY PACIFIC.
Duties
You will plan, implement, and integrate Information Technology (IT) in support of the activity's mission.
You will apply IT principles, standards, and methods to determine the status of network data confidentiality, integrity, availability and reliability, authentication and non-repudiation, and technology performance metrics.
You will be responsible for conducting risk assessments and preparing accreditation packages for information systems to ensure proper controls are in place for the types of information processed.
You will be responsible for conducting assessments for IT networks, systems, and related functions to determine an organization's cybersecurity readiness.
You will analyze all identified vulnerabilities discovered during reviews, prepare applicable recommendations and gap analyses as appropriate.
You will provide advice and guidance on a wide range of complex cybersecurity issues and distributes information pertaining to cyber related threats impacting networks.
You will provide technical leadership and expertise for the analysis, acquisition, deployment and ongoing management and exploitation of information processing technologies and services.
You will manage and administer server systems to include: ensure service quality, maintain hardware and operating system configuration, operational oversight and recommend technical upgrades, fixes, enhancements.

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area Systems Security Analyst level 3 within 6 months of appointment.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-2 pay band or GS-11 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing analysis, design, installation and configuration of networks and client services requirements (C4I). Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
