About the Position: Serves as a Mission Integrator for the G3 Operations Directorate, Future Operations. The Mission Integrator is responsible for developing the relationships needed to bring all parts of the Defense Transportation System (DTS) enterprise together to meet the needs of the Department of Defense (DOD).
Duties
Applies expert knowledge of DOD organizational missions, objectives, and procedures as they relate to transportation and computerized systems.
Provides support in applying short-term and long-term system expertise to functional users.
Leverages relationships with multiple stakeholders and integrates transportation missions across all combatant commands in support of DOD transportation requirements.
Develops solutions and recommendations; corrects deficiencies and problems.
Designs, develops, and plans improvements in functional methods and system support, ensuring maximum utilization of automation resources, system integration, data and report information availability and user satisfaction.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
- Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 15% of the time is required.
- Position may require incumbent to work nonstandard duty hours.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or equivalent pay system in the Federal service which includes experience with (1) Facilitating the movement of cargo through the Defense Transportation System; (2) Utilizing knowledge of guidelines and polices to support terminal operations; and (3) Providing advisory service to resolve transportation problems to ensure timely movement of cargo. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
