About the Position: The pay band NH-03 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-12 to 13. Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities. This position has a control point of a GS-13 step 5 $126,949.

Duties

Establishes the scope and extent of the logistic support for both Army and other user services. Coordinates, provides updates to, and prepares Acquisition Requirements Packages (ARPs). Conduct continuing logistic status reviews for assigned programs. Develops and details the logistic acquisition strategy for assigned systems and incorporates the same into a statement of work (SOW). Acts as spokesman at briefings for the assigned system(s). Prepares and presents briefings and status reports to a variety of activity and command level review boards.

• Secret Security clearance required.
• This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for (Life Cycle Logistics) Certification within 24 months of entrance on duty.
