This position will serve as a Program Analyst for the Division of Sanitation Facilities Construction (DSFC) at the Oklahoma City Area Office of the Office of Environmental Health and Engineering in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The incumbents will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing data and providing reports and information which will be used to make administrative and programmatic decisions.This position reports to the Supervisory Sanitarian.
Duties
Track program metrics for accuracy and completeness utilizing STARS database.
Identify and report discrepancies in data and advise management.
Advise management on potential uses of automation to improve the efficiency of administrative support and program operations.
Tracks, trends, evaluates and analyzes data.
Maintain the Home Inventory Tracking System (HITS) in STARS to accurately reflect and identify sanitation needs in the Oklahoma City Area.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Tracking program metrics for accuracy; develop training materials and procedures to collect and provide accurate data; prepare flow diagrams and data/workflow charts; conducting extensive data analysis with software systems such as Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel; preparing documents for broad audiences; identifying problems and recommending corrections for data analyses and written documentation.
OR
Completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years (36 semester hours) of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
OR
A combination of qualifying graduate education and specialized experience. Only graduate education in excess of the first year is creditable toward meeting the experience requirement when combining experience and education.
Time In Grade
Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).
