This position is located at Fort Gregg-Adams, VA - NAF - MWR - BUSINESS OPERATIONS.
Duties
Through subordinate activity managers, is responsible for overall management and direction of the Directorate, Morale Welfare and Recreation (DMWR) Business Division at a garrison, to include most of the following activities:
Clubs, Food and Beverage, Entertainment, Bowling, Golf, Rod / Gun Clubs, Mobile Snack Facilities, Public-Private Venture, contracted business operations, Lodging Operations, NAF Recycling, Value Added Taxes, and Hunting, Fishing, and Sport Shooting.
May coordinate with officials responsible for AAFES and the Army Recreation Machine Program. Provides policies and guidance to ensure attainment of the established objectives of the division.
Directs, develops and administers plans and procedures. Implements, enforces, and ensures compliance with regulations to provide aggressive community business program which meets the needs and interests of the military community.
Provides sound leadership and supervision to ensure attainment of the established objectives of the division. Develops and/or recommends methods, operations, and programs to ensure profitable business activities income.
Reviews program objectives and priorities, and develops five-year plan with Capitol Purchase Minor Construction (CPMC) and Annual Operating Budgets covering projected programs of division resources.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements

- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- Must obtain (within 6 months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited agency (i.e., ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Program).
- Required to file a Confidential Statement of Affiliations and Financial Interest in accordance with requirements of DODD 5500.7 Joint Ethics Regulation.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

Work experience directing/managing one or more DMWR Business Operations activities for a garrison, or similar civilian operation, for at least one year.
HIGHLY PREFERRED are applicants who possess the minimum qualifications above AND:

Work experience at a Garrison Division or Program management level for at least 3 of most recent 5 years.
Must have completed CES Basic Course (or Equiv).
Minimum of 3 years demonstrated lead experience for Special Events F&B.
