Duties
You will research and/or analyzes evolving project-related IT issues or problems where the success of the project is dependent on the identification and analysis of complex IT solutions.
You will determine conditions and facts based on the related subject factor(s) and collect data from many varied sources.
You will review information, reconciles conflicting data, and devises new or modified methods to analyze findings.
You will develop recommendations and proposals based on completed research which can be reported through information papers, decision course of actions analysis, response sheets or briefs.
You will provides substantive policy interpretations, in particular, advises executive team members on the complex trade offs that may be required, considering emerging DOD and enterprise-wide program directives and trends.
You will apply a broad knowledge of the Director missions and program directives, including key challenges and practical constraints, to recommend realistic trade-offs among program elements and strategies.
You will research and analyzed complex issues or problems where the success of the program was dependent on the technology solution.
You will identify complex technology problems, determined the data required for a solution, reviewed information from several sources, and reconciled conflicting data to recommend alternative solutions.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 752 level (i) intermediate within 12 months of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Applying, refining, or interpreting advanced IT principles and practices for enterprise-level policy and procedural guidelines governing the planning and delivery of USMC IT infrastructure assets and service; and Creating and coordinating proper reporting channels for compliance issues.
