You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the SURVEILLANCE RADAR DIVISION, SENSORS WEAPONS AND LAUNCHERS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER PORT HUENEME DIVISION.
Duties
You will serve as the Product Support and Sustainment Manager and will provide leadership, coordination, project planning and overall Product Support task management of all Product Support elements for Surveillance Radars.
You will oversee the Enterprise Air Surveillance Radar (EASR) Cross Product Team including Design Agent and Product Support Integrator's tasking.
You will develop acquisition strategies and plans that emphasize total life-cycle support goals as well as recommendations and solutions for Logistics related problems.
You will review failure and reliability data and deficiency reports to identify equipment problems and establish a need for modifications, system changes or proposals.
You will prepare comprehensive program plans, formal reports, documents, specification requirements, criteria, and standards.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- For Virginia Beach location only: This is a bargaining unit position.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing logistics requirements to develop acquisition and product support plans for combat or weapon systems.
