About the Position: Serve as the Doctrine Analyst specializing in nuclear operations, countering weapons of mass destruction (CWMD), biological defense and survivability doctrine.

Duties

Engage with the Combined Arms Doctrine Directorate (CADD) and the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) doctrine community to integrate concepts on nuclear operations, CWMD and biodefense into Army doctrine. Evaluate institutional, theater level and below doctrine, tactics, techniques and procedures, and lessons learned. Validate, modify, or recommend new doctrine literature as it concerns CWMD, biodefense, nuclear operations, effects, survivability, and integration. Assist Army, joint and NATO doctrine developers to conduct analysis to identify gaps in current and emerging operations and nuclear and CWMD doctrine. Review joint doctrine and provides recommended changes related to nuclear and CWMD operations. Coordinate closely with the NATO Joint CBRN Defense Capability Development Group to ensure that emerging NATO doctrine aligns with DoD doctrine.
