This position is within the Missile Defense Agency, Technical Intelligence Directorate. The incumbent will serve as a Supervisory Intelligence Operations Specialist providing support to MDA Program Elements and Supporting Offices.

Duties

As a SUPV INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPEC you will be responsible for the following duties:

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen

  • Position is a (DCIPS) position in the Excepted Service under U.S.C. 1601

Qualifications

You may qualify at the GG-15 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GG/GS-14 grade level meeting 2 of the 3 following statements, in the Federal service as listed below: Experience in intelligence and counterintelligence collection management protocols, analytical methodologies and reference techniques. Experience with the roles, missions and functions of the US intelligence and counterintelligence communities. Experience in counterintelligence missions and functions and be able to apply them in a RDT&E environment. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Education

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
