About the Position: This position serves as the Supervisor of storage and distribution for the Medical Materiel Branch, Logistics Division within an MTF. Performs supervisory responsibility over work operations. This position is located in Martin Army Community Hospital at Fort Moore, Georgia.
Duties
Organizes, coordinates and directs the work activities and personnel of the Storage and Distribution Section.
Responsible for the receipt, storage, security and movement of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, MNBCDM (hazardous materials and substances such as chemicals, flammables, radioactive materials) as well as other equipment and supplies.
Responsible for the Customer Area Inventory Manager (CAIM) supply process.
Monitors the liquid bulk oxygen level to ensure adequate supply for hospital.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires a Tier 1 security investigation.
- Required to possess and maintain a valid state driver's license and be able to obtain and maintain a US Government driver's license.
- Required to possess and maintain a forklift operator's license to operate a forklift for loading and transporting equipment and supplies.
- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is therefore subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes responsibility for the receipt, storage, movement, and distribution of medical materiel, pharmaceuticals, and Medical Nuclear Biological Chemical Defense Materiel (MNBCDM), hazardous materials and substances, such as chemicals, flammables, radioactive materials, and other equipment and supplies; utilizes automated supply systems; and responsible for ensuring the performance, quality and standardization of all assigned medical supply stock rooms and carts. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
