About the Position: This position is located with the United States Army Installation Management Command, United States Army Garrison, Fort Riley Directorate of Human Resources, Military Personnel Division, Strength Management Branch in Fort Riley, Kansas.
Duties
Utilize the Integrated Personnel and Pay System – Army (IPPS-A), Interactive Personnel Electronics Records Management System (IPERMS), and Installation Support Modules (INPROC), (OUTPROC), TRANSPROC).
Responsible for maintenance of military personnel records, processing all personnel actions, Permanent Change of Station orders processing to include Family Travel request submission, and other similar personnel and administrative matters.
Submit Personnel Action Requests (PAR) on behalf of a Soldier, manage promotion boards, promotion rosters, benefits enrollment, manage assignments, update departure and/or arrival information, and perform approval of workflow transactions.
Solve problems of higher than average difficulty pertaining to personnel management.
Requirements

Specialized Experience GS-06: One year of specialized experience which includes inputting data and processing military personnel actions and records; and experience utilizing military personnel automated databases. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
