About the Position: This position is located at the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCOE), Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation (WHINSEC) Ft. Moore, Georgia 31905. The "Maneuver Center of Excellence" is located 100 miles south of Atlanta and is adjacent to Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama.

Duties

Draft documents in the English and Spanish Language using correct grammar and punctuation. Coordinate flight arrangement. Draft and review invitational travel orders in the proper format. Maintain a spreadsheet roster of all international instructors. Process award recommendations. Conduct customer service.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). Specialized Experience GS-07: One year of specialized experience which includes monitoring finance actions for Basic Allowance for Housing entitlement and award recommendations; coordinate pay issues. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Proficiency Required:This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5-minute sample with three or fewer errors.
