About the Position: This position is located at the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCOE), Fort Moore, GA. The MCOE is located 100 miles south of Atlanta, Georgia, and is adjacent to Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama.
Duties
Ensures established operating policies and procedures for management and control of operations at the Installation Collection Point.
Coordinates, monitors, and maintains the installation’s urinalysis program, to include the testing of all
military personnel, reservists, National Guard, and civilian personnel as identified in AR 600-85.
Participates in the development of a training course for UPLs to ensure adherence to all regulations, policies, and standard uniform procedures, at the unit level during the collection process.
Supports consolidating and analyzing statistical data on the installation urinalysis program.
Oversees data input of urinalysis testing for the drug testing automated data systems.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- -Requires the incumbent to be certified by the DA DTC Certification Course within 9 months of assuming the duties of the position.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes coordinating, administering, and monitoring all aspects of the biochemical drug testing program and providing guidance of administration of the drug testing program directly to employees. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
