Duties
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST in the ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAMS AND OVERSIGHT (CODE 106E), OCC SAFETY HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEPT (CODE 106), NAVAL BASE, NORFOLK VA.
You will develop and progress the organization, and management of all MARMC Enviromental Safety Program (ESP) and oversight of all ESP programs.
You will develop instruction, directives manuals, handouts, and other publications which provide policy and procedural guidance.
You will prepare reports of inspections and evaluations identifying program deficiencies.
You will develop initiatives to eliminate workplace safety and environmental hazards.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of SPECIALIZED experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector:
Experience developing safety and environmental training programs.
Experience developing and maintaining various programs designed to prevent and reduce occupational mishaps, injuries, and illnesses.
Experience designing Information Technology systems for various ESP information management applications
Experience providing full administrative and technical supervision to employees.
Experience planning and assigning work, establishing schedules and work project priorities, and accepting, amending or rejecting completed work assignments.
