Duties
In charge of all planning, directing, coordinating, managing, and reviewing all actions concerned with the operation and conduct of the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC), Maintenance Division.
Independently interprets policy and develops overall plans and strategies for mission accomplishment.
Develops plans for expansion of activities, consolidation of functions, special projects, new functions or changes in currently assigned missions
Chairs or participates in conferences as the installation representative to discuss managerial or technical maintenance problems, orientation, training, and assistance on proposed changes to maintenance/logistics policies, and procedures.
Directs, coordinates, programs, and monitors all maintenance and production control efforts related to maintenance equipment and materiel.
Supervises technical and support personnel performing maintenance functions for the organization.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes directing, coordinating, programs, and monitors for all maintenance and production control efforts related to maintenance equipment and materiel.
