You will serve as a RESOURCE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICE of PSNS and IMF.

Duties

You will evaluate short and longer term work schedules to identify and coordinate training, medical qualification and work qualification requirements. You will prepare and issue reports using computer databases that include leave, overtime, training qualifications and schedules. You will schedule and manage training and medical qualification programs for the department. You will coordinate travel processes and passport and government credit card application and maintenance. You will coordinate with shops, departments and projects to identify resource and manning requirements. You will evaluate overall project workload, identify priorities and shift assignments accordingly.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing administrative and managerial support to maintain a qualified workforce, ( e.g., allocating departmental resources, analyzing work requests for required skill level workforce, coordinating travel processes, ensuring adequate training).
