About the Position: Serve as International Programs Branch Chief for the MH-47 Product Office to manage all cost, performance, schedule, and contracting aspects of the PM MH-47 international program. This includes the development, test, contracting, production, deployment, logistics support, modification, and disposal for the international MH-47. This is a pay banded position. The NH-04 band encompasses grades 14 and 15 under the General Schedule (GS) system.

Duties

Advising the PM in all matters related to foreign military sales (FMS) and international activities with foreign governments to include developing plans and recommendations, coordinating liaison contacts with foreign government personnel. Provides continuing staff and technical management, coordination, and monitoring of security assistance (SA) program accomplishments. As the representative for the PM, participates in the development and execution of all SA agreements for the weapon system. Keeps current of guidance from higher authority, evaluates impact of implementation and works to ensure compliance. Assures achievement of adequate and timely functional support for the PM and its customers. Identifies major issues and crucial aspects which may impede or preclude program accomplishment and develops effective solutions.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance for the duration of employment.
  • This position requires pre-employment Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
  • This position requires a one-year probationary period for Supervisory position unless previously completed.
  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for (Advanced) Program Management certification within 48 months as of entrance on duty.
  • This is a Critical Acquisition Position. This position requires the selectee to sign a tenure agreement to remain in Federal service for at least 3 years.
