Duties
This position is located under the Office of Management (OM), Asset Forfeiture and Seized Property Division (AFSPD), Management Support Branch in Washington, District of Columbia.
The AFSPD is responsible for the oversight and management of the ATF Asset Forfeiture program, which involves the seizure, management, and disposal of forfeited property, The Office of Manageent oversees ATF's core administrative functions of financial management, asset forfeiture, facilities management, safety programs, acquisitions, and property management, serving both internal and external stakeholders. Manages the Divisions' administrative operations, to include Special Project oversight.
Qualifications
To qualify for 14, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. Specialized experience includes:
Supervising and mentoring branch personnel; AND
Overseeing the daily operations, development, implementation, and success of the Management Support Branch; AND
Planning, managing, and successfully exchanging information for data collection, compilation, and analysis for AFSPD operations; AND
Managing the overall seized currency program from ATF.
