The Management Analyst provides support to the ACOS, Ambulatory Care Service and Administrative Officer in the administrative management of primary care and community-based outpatient clinics (CBOC) in Ambulatory Care Service. He/she will be the liaison between the Health Care System (HCS) management and the Chief of his/her assigned service. He/she supports management of this service in clinical administrative matters in coordination with the Administrative Officer.
Duties
Duties include but are not limited to:
Provides administrative management support to clinics with Ambulatory Care with additional administrative support to Dallas Primary Care, Bonham Ambulatory Care, the Fort Worth Outpatient Clinic, Polk Street Annex, Tyler Community-Based Outpatient Clinic, and other contract CBOC's.
Organizes and directs Ambulatory Care Service's Performance Metrics and Quality Management Program evaluation activities. Coordinates and analyzes internal review activities to ensure that clinical and administrative functions are in compliance with Central Office directives.
Performs analytical studies that are designed to resolve critical organizational or functional problems throughout the service.
Performs as a service recovery representative for Ambulatory Care Service.
Serves as functional committees as assigned by Service Chief and Administrative Officer.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm or 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 11/27/2023.
Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-11 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-09. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade. Note: Time-In-Grade requirements also apply to former Federal employees applying for reinstatement as well as current employees applying for Veterans Employment Opportunities Act of 1998 (VEOA) appointment.
You may qualify based on your experience and/or education as described below:
Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-09 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:: Knowledge of filing, typing, entering data, maintaining records, taking minutes during meetings and using and completing forms. Works and communicates with clients and customers, e.g., any individuals who use or receive our services, internal and external customers, to satisfy their expectations. Physical Requirements: The work is performed in a properly heated and ventilated, and well-lighted office setting. There may be regular and reoccurring requirements to bend and stoop during enviornment of care rounds and safety inspections.
