This position is located in Field Operations Directorate, Office of Field Operations Central Regional Office. As an Management and Program Analyst, you will conduct and lead diverse and unique projects to improve the performance of the Region's subordinate District and Field Offices and to balance and equitably distribute the workload in those Field Offices.

Duties

Data Mining: Defines procedures and guidance to extract, assess, and/or re-define data from enterprise-level systems for complex data requests. Data Analysis: Analyzes facts of a data request or data pull and assembles the data using mathematical, statistical, and qualitative methodologies. Data Reporting: Communicates the results of data mining and analysis in comprehensive reports to decision-makers. Data Management: Ensures that accurate, appropriately concise, and timely information is available to executive management officials.

Qualifications

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 11/08/2023. Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 11/08/2023. Selective Placement Factor #1: You must have experience with productivity improvement and managing projects that achieved quantifiable positive results. Selective Placement Factor #2: You must have experience conducting performance assessments including designing metrics, interpreting performance data, and providing leadership with guidance on multiple areas of performance relative to productivity. GS-14: In addition to the requirements at the lower grade level(s), you qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties: Conducting studies, analyzing findings and making recommendations on substantive operating systems and/or programs that required applying knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques. Performing a variety of analytical studies and projects related to management improvement, productivity improvement, management controls, and long-range planning. Providing recommendations to parties dealing with various management levels throughout an agency or organization. Resolving problems and issues associated with the planning, coordination, and implementation of agency programs and activities.
