About the Position: This position is located at the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM); the Army's materiel integrator for command, control, communications, computers, cyber, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C5ISR) readiness; supporting our Soldiers' ability to protect our Nation and way of life.
Duties
Develops, applies, and coordinates AMC, DA, DoD and DLA policies and regulations related to Industrial Base (IB), acquisition, or sustainment logistics matters.
Assists CECOM ILSC Weapon System Directorates and Program Executive Officers (PEOs) in the interpretation and implementation of Industrial Base, Supply Chain Risk Management Guidance, Life Cycle Sustainment Guidance.
Reviews technical data (such as BOMs, RPSTLS, CDRLs, DIDs, or Maintenance Concepts) to ensure adequate production processes, material availability, and manufacturing control techniques.
Advise on changes to organizational structures, organizational charts to implement reorganizations or changes in program administration.
Serves as the technical expert for CECOM Industrial Base matters.
Receive and review unsolicited proposals from industry/private business.
Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of applications (i.e. Teams, Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02/GS-11 level in the Federal service which includes work that involves: 1) Assisting with the development of policies and regulations related to Industrial Base (IB), Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS); or Life Cycle Sustainment for weapon systems; 2) Reviewing acquisition strategies to determine if changes to DoD, Army, AMC, or CECOM guidance is required; 3) Leverages tools and/or technology to develops plans or techniques to fit new situations to improve overall program and policies. And 4) Establishes precedents in application of problem-solving techniques to enhance existing processes.
