Duties
You will provide staff services in the COLUMBIA Class Project Office Department in the Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair, USN, Groton, Connecticut.
You will track and monitor progress for millions of dollars on all contracts within the COLUMBIA Class Project Office cognizance.
You will recommend requests for additional funds when required from NAVSEA, and reallocate funds when required.
You will enter and track Work Deferral Request (WDR) documents to ensure work progresses through various SUPSHIP departments and NAVSEA to support KEY Event requirements.
You will manage and update the spreadsheet of Change Management Team (CMT) items maintained by senior Production Controllers assigned to CMT.
You will evaluate and advise senior management of process improvements of organization, methods, and procedures for providing administrative support systems such as records, communications, directives, forms, files, and documentation.
You will develop data and generate reports required for use in the management and direction of programs.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector gathering data, conducting research, or assisting with the preparation of formal reports to present data analysis results to management.

EDUCATION MAY SUBSTITUTE FOR SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE AS FOLLOWS:
-You have successfully completed one full year of graduate education,
OR;
-You have successfully completed a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement,
OR;
-You have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
