About the Position: This position is located at 72nd Medical Group, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma.

Duties

Serve as the Patient Advocate and the Communications Director for the medical group. Execute marketing initiatives to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Collaborate with medical group elements including but not limited to, Executive Staff, Medical Group Commander, to ensure compliance with Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). Compile and analyze data for recurring monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Provide ongoing education to a variety of professional, paraprofessional, and administrative staff regarding the principles, goals, and methods of quality customer service. Perform administrative and clerical duties in support of the Communication and Patient Advocate programs. Resolve patient's inquiries and complaints. Attend meetings to obtain relevant information regarding customer's concerns and/or complaints. Facilitate the Patient Safety programs.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
