This position is located in the Enterprise Architecture Division, IT Governance Directorate, Office of the Chief Information Officer.  The position description number for this position is 260484.

Duties

The position serves as an Enterprise Architect and is responsible for strategically designing and identifying efficient information technology solutions in support of core organizational functions. The incumbent provides technical expertise and leadership, performs complex application analysis, and design of solutions. The position is involved in a variety of initiatives ranging from planning and technical design. The position is also responsible for producing enterprise and solution design documentation with expert attention to detail. The incumbent combines knowledge of technical architecture and an understanding of business processes to design appropriate solutions.

Qualifications

Applicants must have had progressively responsible experience and training sufficient in scope and quality to furnish them with an acceptable level of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position without more than normal supervision. Ability to design, maintain, and integrate a technical architecture program based on business requirements. ** Knowledge of infrastructure technologies and practices. ** Ability to evaluate and select technology products, services and standards. ** Ability to facilitate, negotiate, and obtain consensus. Ability to communicate effectively other than in writing.
