McCoy's Community Center is the central hub of activity. Which includes Dining, Sports Bar, Bowling, Recreation and Leisure Activities and Conference and Catering Spaces. McCoy's Community Center Team provides high-quality service and a place to unwind for the Ft McCoy Community.

Duties
Manages a Food Service Program within a business activity. Develops, recommends and enforces operating procedures. Plans and manages all phases of food service program where dining and catering are a substantial basis of the food operation.
Prepares/supervises the preparation of menus involving both standard and new cooking methods. Directs subordinate staff in all phases of food preparation and food sanitation requirements. Performs food preparation and cashiering duties as required.
Represents the activity to the public. Conducts customer surveys, reviews usage/sales to make recommendations concerning services, promotion activities and revenue improvements.
Participates in the selection of employees, directs on-the-job training of new employees, makes duty assignments consistent with operational requirements. Supervises assigned staff.
Develops operating budget and data, identifying labor, equipment, and supply costs. Controls food pricing and costs. Oversees food ordering, storage and issues.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position to include a supervisor of minor checks.
- A one year Supervisory probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- The ability to obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited agency is required.
- Successfully complete all required background checks to include a health screening. An annual health screening will be required throughout employment. All local background checks will be re-verified every 5 years.
- Must be able to work an uncommon tour of duty.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license to drive government vehicles to make bank runs and for outdoor events.
- Uniforms and name tags are provided and required.
- Seven-day operation and shift will primarily be evenings and weekends. Shift may vary due to mission, night, weekends and holidays are required.
Qualifications
Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume.
Work experience or education directly related to the duties to be performed. Knowledge of pricing methods and internal controls. Demonstrated work experience must be equivalent in complexity to the next lower pay level.
Possess a certificate for sanitation in food service or have the ability to obtain the certificate within three (3) months of appointment.
Highly Preferred Criteria All answers to the Highly Preferred criteria must be demonstrated in your resume to get credit.
Work experience supervising/managing/training staff.
Minimum of one (1) year work experience cooking (line cook, dining facility, etc).
