This position is located in the Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Performance Analysis and Integrity (PA&I), aligned to VBA's Chief of Staff. The primary purpose for this position is to develop accurate data based reports using the candidate's highly developed Oracle P1/SQL and SQL coding skills.
Provide PA&I leadership with status updates on the projects and data architecture enhancements.
Duties
Database modeling, including data mart design, data cataloging management, and meta-data management in a Data Warehouse Environments.
Provide Leadership with status updates on the projects and data architecture enhancements.
Assist in planning, coordination, and implementation of data marts and data architecture solutions supporting the Enterprise Data Warehouse Database internal and external partners.
Create an optimal EDW data architecture design through data analysis and requirements elicitation.
Collaborate with end users and contractor to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery.
Develop end to end data warehousing solutions involving Informatica ETL development and front end visualization with Power BI, OBIEE or Tableau.

Specialized Experience:
GS-13: Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade (GS-12) in the federal service. Specialized experience is work experience that equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: 1) Developing end to end data warehousing solutions involving Informatica ETL development and front-end visualization with Power BI, OBIEE or Tableau; AND 2) communicating, problem-solving, and analytic abilities as required to perform job tasks.
There is no educational substitution for this GS-13 level position.
