Duties
The purpose of this position is to provide analytical support monitoring projects, reviewing policies, and recommending process improvements.
Analyzes and evaluates review or examination findings and develops reports to include recommendations to improve efficiencies and effectiveness.
Serves as a project manager for projects that require coordination of diversified functional and technical resources and utilizes project management planning tools.
Provides program planning, assessment, coordination and advisory services for a wide variety of complex interrelated readiness issues/programs .
Performs analysis and makes recommendations for corrective or process improvement actions.
Prepares detailed written or oral reports on findings from review and analysis of projects and programs.

Qualifications
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-11) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized Experience is defined as: applying knowledge of project management practices, policies and regulations sufficient to provide advice and guidance to senior leaders regarding project or program management activities. Management activities may include areas such as records management, training facilitation, financial management, facility management, or travel management.
Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-11 or higher grade in Federal Service.
You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.

GS 12 : Education is not substitutable for specialized experience at this grade level.
