About the Position: The person in this position will serve as a Support Specialist with the responsibility for performing analytical and administrative work in support of assigned organization's mission or programs.
Duties
Analyze new or proposed regulations to determine impact on program operations.
Evaluate operating procedures, administrative controls, and report systems.
Measure and/or evaluate program accomplishments, effectiveness, efficiency, and/or compliance with agency rules.
Develop reports and briefings of review findings.
Formulate recommendations for improvements to program operations to ensure full regulatory compliance of command programs.
Provide analysis of management studies dealing with work measurement methods.
Collaborate with staff elements to define administrative problems, collects and analyzes data.
Develop new or modified work methods, organizational structures, management processes, and/or program administration procedures.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing analytical and administrative work in support of assigned organization's mission or programs; assisting with data collection for reports; and providing recommendations and/or guidance pertaining to the planning, development, and execution of the organizational programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
