About the Position: Serves as a Senior Management Analyst in the Manpower and Force Analysis Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Resource Management Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center.

Duties

Serves as a Senior Management Analyst in the Manpower and Force Analysis Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Resource Management Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center. Research complex problems, analyses solutions and provide recommendations. Responsible for independent evaluation of manpower, equipment, and civilian personnel management programs for all manpower actions related to the mission. Perform analyses and gather statistical data to help improve manpower and equipment utilization. Prepare detailed automated spreadsheets on TRADOC Manpower Guidance (TMG) implementing changes. Present briefings to managers and other staff officials on manpower management programs.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Manpower & PersonnelPlanning and EvaluatingWritten Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
