About the Position: This position is with the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Army Geospatial Center (AGC) located in Alexandria, VA. This is a permanent position.

Duties

Direct the Systems Engineering and Architecture support mission to support Enterprise Support Branch missions. Plans specific geospatial systems engineering and architecture activities for the Army, serving as primary technical lead on those activities. Establish future state enterprise technical architecture for Army Geospatial Enterprise (AGE) focused on geospatial interoperability across Mission Command Systems. Applies reverse engineering and re-engineering disciplines to develop strategic and planning documents, policies and technical recommendations. Develops and reviews Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) compliant artifacts and fit for purpose artifacts.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent to obtain and/or maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
• This position requires the incumbent to travel up to 25% of the duty time.
