About the Position: This position is with the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Army Geospatial Center (AGC) located in Alexandria, VA.
This is a permanent position.
Duties
Serve as Enterprise Support Branch Chief for the Systems and Acquisition Support Directorate (SASD) of the U.S. Army Geospatial Center (AGC), Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
Exercise managerial authority to establish long-range work plans and schedules (multi-year).
Coordinate with high-level Department of Defense an Army staff as well as Program Executive Offices, Program Managers, and other officials in developing overall goals and objectives.
Evaluate implementation of the Enterprise Support Branch goals and objectives to identify which need more emphasis.
Provide geospatial systems engineering, architecture, standards, data modeling, and test and certification capabilities across all Army Acquisition Systems
Develop, manage and defend funding for geospatial domain expertise though the Program Planning Budget and Execution Process.
Coordinate Army Geospatial Enterprise capabilities across the National System for Geospatial Intelligence, Headquarters Army and Army Mission Command / Intel communities in support of Multi-Domain Operations and Joint All Domain Command and Control.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent to obtain and/or maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a pre-employment Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450, and annually thereafter.
- This position requires incumbent to complete a pre-employment drug test, and periodically thereafter.
- This position requires the incumbent to travel up to 25% of the duty time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing geospatial architecture and engineering goals and objectives to support organizational missions; serve as technical lead to geospatial systems architecture and engineering activities; analyze internal and external customer requirements to identify and determine solutions to achieve geospatial interoperability; and utilize systems engineering principles to develop strategic and planning documents, policies, and technical recommendations.
