You will work with senior leaders to develop, revise, coordinate, and deliver training and exercises directly serving active disasters, the Regional offices, and federal, state, tribal, local, and whole community partners.

Qualifications

To qualify for thisTraining and Exercise Program Specialist position at the IC-12 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-11 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate all of the following: Providing emergency management planning and operations in a variety of all-hazards response and recovery disciplines, such as firefighting, law enforcement, emergency medical services, emergency management, or other areas; Providing classroom instructional techniques and platform skills in presenting instruction to audiences to include skills in using computers and computer aids in course development and delivery; and Delivering training and exercise support to internal or external stakeholders such as state, local and tribal partners.
