You will serve as an IT PROJECT MANAGER (PLCYPLN) - CAEI Corporate Production Service Center Manager in the 4.7 Production, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering Competency of NAVWARSYSCEN ATLANTIC CHARLESTON SC.

Duties

You will utilize a production engineering system and its development, documentation and implementation to domestic and international standards or requirements. You will implement a Quality Management System (QMS) and manage and maintain ISO 9001 certification. You will form and lead diverse teams to execute multidimensional, complex projects across organizational components with visibility at the service/agency level. You will formulate organizational strategies, tactics, and budget/action plans to acquire and allocate resources that accomplish command goals effectively, in challenging scenarios. You will to lead change while balancing the development and implementation of an organizational vision.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

You must possess one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: Conducting technical management, administration, leadership, OR execution of engineering OR integration service functions; AND supporting the development and/or review of technical data packages for production.
